Love Altared Plans. The picture fits the title so well. I've been very impressed with CFI's covers the last few years. Very well done.

I voted for Altared Plans too. To me it's the most inviting cover.

Three of these covers worked very well for me because they all have the chick lit vibe that attracts me. Again, I feel like I know exactly what I'm picking up. I think Altared Plans communicates it to me most effectively, though. Then again, I already bought all three that caught my eye so I guess they all worked!

Altared Plans, hands down. I love the entire feel of it. It says exactly what I think it should say.

How to Stuff a Wild Zucchini. I liked the style of it and the cute little heart growing out of the ground.

I don't usually like romance books, but the cover of Altared Plans really appealed to me, with the girl flopped down on the seat, looking both disappointed and harassed. You can just tell from the picture that the wedding didn't go as planned, and it makes you want to find out why, and what happens next.

The cover for Pickup Games, on the other hand, really turned me off. Yes, all the essential information is there, you see two television personalities and a camera, you see a basketball in the background, but it all seemed so crowded. Maybe it's just me, but I needed extra time to sort everything out and see what it was supposed to be, instead of just a jumble of odd colours.

Zuchini for me. It says fun and funny and contemporary. And it was!

Altared Plans made me uneasy with the girl looks too sleazy for me.

I think the girl on the cover of Altared Plans looks sleazy too. Her pose is too provacative. I vote for Counting the Cost. It has a Western appeal.

Altared Plans. The cover conveys the meaning of the book, and the girl creates the perfect mood. I also like the big pink A in AltAred.

As soon as my 19-year-old daughter saw the cover of Altared Plans, she wanted to read the book. And she wasn't thinking "sleazy" (or else she wouldn't have been interested).

Counting the Cost. I love the locket—the placement and the battered look and feel of it. The font is not my favorite, but it fits with the spurs and the cowboy theme. I also like the little tag line. I usually don't like quotes on the front, but this one helps us define the book.

Usually I don't like busy covers, but Pickup Games does it well. You get the whole thing—the big city, the TV camera, the basketball. I especially like the title font and the way the sunrise basketball seems to light it up. And I like that purple color.

Winds of Hope is a classic but tasteful romance cover. I like the light and airy feel of it, the way the fingers are intertwined—this relationship isn't set in stone yet, it's tentative, hopeful. And I love the font work of Winds. Love, love that "word used as art" look.

I love How to Stuff a Wild Zucchini. I love the colors, the fun feel of it. The fact that she's watering a heart. The fonts fit. You know exactly what you're getting with this cover—a fun, feel good romance. (The only negative? It looks like she only has one leg.)

Altared Plans. I love nearly everything about this cover. I love the pink accents, and that they're a bit of a dusty pink, not a glaring pink or baby pink. I love the font work, the jumbledy-ness of the world Altared vs the very controlled word Plans. Love the pink sash. Love the font and placement of the title. I'd like to have seen a more frustrated or sad expression on the model, she's a little pouty—and her pose a little too casual, but I don't find it sleazy or provocative.
